The Irish band Gurriers continues to offer succulent previews of his second album. Now it’s the turn of “Nothing Happens Twice”, the third preview of the album that will be released at the end of September.
After sharing “Party Lines” and later the song that will give the title to their second full-length, “Nobody’s Coming To Save You”, the Dubliners Gurriers once again deliver a direct hit to our jaws with “Nothing Happens Twice”, the third song that we can hear from their long-awaited new work
Like the rest of the songs that will be part of “Nobody’s Coming To Save You”“Nothing Happens Twice” was recorded between the Attica studios (Donegal) and Holy Mountain (London), being produced by Mark Bowen (Idles) and Loren Humphrey (Geese)and mixed by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Swans).
“Nothing Happens Twice” is inspired by the play “Waiting for Godot” by Samuel Beckett, so the song stands out mainly for its strong black humor loaded with great political disenchantment.
“Nobody’s Coming To Save You” will be released on September 25th by Play It Again Sam and a few weeks later, specifically the November 4th in La (2) de Apolo (Barcelona) and November 5th in Nazca (Madrid)the group will be presenting it in our country.
