The young band from Lorca (Murcia) Lost North releases his EP “What’s missing from me”a demonstration that youth pop also has its new representative on the Murcian scene. The main course is their new single “What you see.”
Born in 2022, Norte Perdido are a new example that the new generations of pop rock produced in our country know how to use impudence and freshness as weapons to gain a place in the national indie scene.
Now they are finally releasing their EP “What’s missing from me” –produced by Anto Plans at Iconita Lab–a six-song work that includes the four singles previously shared by the group: “No amanece”, “Si no es tú”, “Pensé que gané” and the one they just released as the main song, “Lo que “You see.”
The single “What you see” is one of the strong points of the EP. For the members of Norte Perdido, this is the song that best represents the essence of the band. “It is the one that best reflects who we are as a band, both for the sound and for what it transmits on an emotional level,” says Antonio el Fraile, vocalist of the group.
Added to them is also the ballad that helps round out the current universe of Lorca’s quartet. One of the two new songs is the ballad “When December ends”, a piece that in the words of Salva Porlán, bassist and lyricist of the group: “It is a very personal and deep lyric that deserved a calmer sound and focused on feeling.” .
Norte Perdido will be playing the Next November 15 at the Silos Hall in Lorca; on November 28 at Garaje Beat Club and on December 27 at Sala Rem, both in Murcia.
