The Bilbao band I DON’T WANT TO tells a story of unrequited love in the third advance single from his new album, which will be released in March.
After the singles “Amarillo” and “Toma de control”, the Bilbao band is back with “Sexy Jane”, their new single that transports us to youth and tells the classic story of unrequited teenage love that we have all experienced. Luckily for our protagonist, Rock&Roll will open new horizons for him.
Although the band embraces a wide range of influences in its sound, rock is its banner, and in “Sexy Jane” it breathes electricity from the 90s to make a declaration of love with its overwhelming guitars. This new preview of the Bilbao band’s second album was recorded and mixed by Alberto Macías at PanPot Studios and mastered at Sterling Sound.
NO QUIERO is a Pop-Rock band from Bilbao created in 2020 by Alberto Macías, Antón Uribe and Gaby Salaverry3 professionals from the music and audiovisual production sector who have chosen NOT to allocate their time, energy and money to paddle tennis, golf or the couch, but to put together this daring musical and audiovisual project. In December 2021 they released their first album, “Monterey”of which they published 8 singles, each with a corresponding video clip in short film format, garnering a good reception from music critics. The project is “a cry of nonconformity, of not giving up being yourself, of not forgetting your dreams, of not locking up the child that deep down you still are and of fighting for what you really love.”
On September 27 they made their live debut at the Bilborock venue. The band, formed by Alberto Macías (Guitar), Gaby Salaverry (lead vocals), Antón Uribe (vocals and keyboards), Blas Fernández (Drums), Javi Quintana (Guitar) and Mario Gutiérrez (Bass), will once again take the stage at the Bilborock room on December 21 (tickets available here).
The video clip has been directed, once again, by Anton Uribe.
