Nicki Minaj, sued after attacking and threatening her tour manager

Nicki Minaj would have received a new lawsuit for assault with injuries by her previous tour manager, Brandon Garrett, according to TMZ and Variety. The events would have occurred during the ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour, on April 21, 2024.

According to documents obtained by the American media, Garrett alleges that while working on the rapper’s tour he had an argument with her, which ended with her hitting and humiliating him. The plaintiff claims that he was ordered to meet the artist in her dressing room, where eight members of Minaj’s team were waiting for him.

She allegedly began complaining that no one on her team “knew what to do or who to report to” before turning her attention to an employee named Luke Montgomery, asking him what his job was. The document explains that he detailed all his tasks, to which any request from Garrett had to be added. One of these requests was to collect the singer’s medical prescriptions.

The lawsuit alleges that the moment Minaj found out about this, she became “visibly upset” and “angrily yelled” at Garrett for not taking care of the prescriptions, even though he was busy with other tasks: ” You’ve lost your fucking mind, and if my husband were here, he’d knock your teeth out. You are a dead man. You just screwed up your life and you will never be anyone. “I’ll make sure of it,” Minaj allegedly shouted.

After briefly focusing her attention on Montgomery, Minaj again referred to Garrett, standing “very close to his face”: “At this time, Minaj struck the right side of Garrett’s face with her open hand,” the caption reads. demand.

Nicki Minaj’s lawyer, Judd Burstein, clarified in a statement to TMZ that they have not received the lawsuit: “At this time, no lawsuit has been served, and therefore, we are not aware of these allegations. However, if the lawsuit is as reported by TMZ, it is completely false and frivolous. “We are confident that the matter brought by her former assistant will be resolved in Mrs. Petty’s favor.”
