Nicki Minaj cancels the release of her album and blames Jay-Z

Shortly before her awkward and recent exchange of tweets with Cardi B in

«Okay, I’m not going to release the album anymore. No more music. I hope you’re happy,” Minaj posted on X, mentioning Jay-Z at the end of the message. “Goodbye Barbz, I love you for life,” concluded Minaj, who also seems to send a general farewell.

Hours before this tweet, Minaj spoke of some people or entities who “don’t want me to release music”: “Me winning makes them think they have lost. They are right. However, it didn’t have to be this way. Many people separate their paths in business. “They know how successful my next album is going to be,” Minaj wrote in another message on X.

In yet another tweet, in which she also mentioned Jay-Z, she suggests that the rapper and his label Roc Nation asked her for an album and a tour, which she rejected: “They needed help from the QUEEN and the BARBZ. “I called the barbz on the barbz secret phone and it was a resounding NOOOO,” he posted.

The relationship between Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj has clearly deteriorated since last year, when the rapper claimed that he owed her around $200 million for his shares on the Tidal platform.
