Nicki Minaj, angry with ‘Hiss’ by Megan Thee Stallion, explodes

Megan Thee Stallion has a new single called ‘Hiss’. The song begins by mentioning ‘Obsessed’ by Mariah Carey and appeals to R Kelly, but above all it is a “fuck you all” from the first line, with a phrase that has made Nicki Minaj very uncomfortable, who has exploded.

The phrase in question is “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” I mean, “these bitches aren’t mad at Megan, these bitches are mad at Megan’s Law.” What does this play on words with the artist’s name appeal to? Without a doubt to the American Megan’s Law, according to which people with a history of sexual crimes have to notify the United States at all times of a change of address.

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, who pleaded guilty to attempted rape at age 16, skipped it pop. He failed to notify a change of address when he moved in with Nicki, and in 2022 he was sentenced to one year of house arrest.

As you can imagine, Nicki did not take long to respond through a live Instagram and Twitter, where she is reposting everything. She has improvised a response song of which she has posted a snippet, she has mocked the size of Megan Thee Stallion’s feet and made several disparaging statements about her career.

As compiled by Pop Crave and Pop Base, she has posted her recent singles and platinum albums for ‘Pink Friday 2’, emphasizing that Megan’s career is “flop after flop” despite “paying for blogs and tweets” and despite having spent a lot of money “in promotion and performances at the VMA’s.”

Another of his pearls has been: “Call all the ghostwriters you want. You know you’re going to fall on your own two feet because you still have to learn to rap and that’s a problem.”
