New Shure KSE1500 Electrostatic Headphone System

The world’s first electrostatic sound-isolating headphones are now among us. They are the Shure KSE1500.

Characteristics

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ELECTROSTATIC HEADPHONE TECHNOLOGY?
The KSE1500 is based on the latest electrostatic technology. Each sound-isolating microtransducer headphone features a diaphragm that weighs almost nothing and takes up virtually nothing, surrounded by an electrostatic field generated by back plates that manage charge oscillation. This technology offers the fastest and most accurate transient response available, resulting in unparalleled audio clarity and detail.

WHAT SOURCES CAN BE USED?
The KSE1500 is capable of processing digital audio via micro-USB, as well as analog audio via direct line input. You can also completely bypass purely analog signals, without applying conversion. The included USB digital-analog converter (DAC) converts digital or analog audio from portable sources or computers.
