Nelly Furtado announces ‘7’ after creating 500 songs, and releases ‘Corazón’

Nelly Furtado has finally confirmed the release of her new album ‘7’, which will be released on September 20, the same day as Katy Perry’s ‘143’. As shown by Apple Music, there will be 14 songs, of which the already known ‘Love Bites’ with Tove Lo and SG Lewis will be track 3, and the new single, track 2.

It’s ‘Corazón’ with Bomba Estéreo, a sensual tribal production that Nelly Furtado has been talking about for over a year and that finally sees the light. “I’m here and now” is the motto of its pre-chorus, before introducing a more melodic part. Then comes the Li Saumet featuring, more rapped and very far from her illustrious collaboration with Bad Bunny.

Nelly Furtado explained on Instagram that she has been making this song for 2 years, in 3 different cities, but it has taken even longer to make the album. She says that there are between 400 and 500 songs that have been born over 4 years because she needs music “every day”, and that it has been difficult to choose the 14 that are also different from each other. Something that can already be perceived in the 2 singles that we know, which have nothing to do with each other.
