Nathy Peluso pays tribute to Buenos Aires at her Tiny Desk

Nathy Peluso is the latest artist to make her debut on NPR’s famous live format, Tiny Desk. The Argentinean has focused on promoting ‘GRASA’, her latest work, but not before paying a nice tribute to the city of Buenos Aires, where she lived until she was 9 years old. Recently, María José Llergo also made her debut on the American space.

«We are fulfilling another dream today with these wonderful people who are with me», Peluso introduces. «We are going to start with a magical song that has been with me ever since I made it in a wonderful way», he says before singing a great version of ‘BUENOS AIRES’, included in the album ‘Calambre’. The rest of the set focuses on some of the most outstanding songs from ‘GRASA’, such as ‘APRENDER A AMAR’ or ‘LEGENDARIO’.

The singer gives a show whose protagonists are, naturally, her unique vocal style and a whole band of up to 10 musicians, including instrumentalists and backing singers, who bring a wide variety of sounds to the table: saxophones, trombones, trumpets, piano, guitar…
