Nobody Patín has released the song that will turn his career around. ‘FAST, FAST, FAST!’ represents the next step in the journey of Andalusians Selu and Gome, after the release of their self-titled debut album last October.
Maintaining the Andalusian accent, but with an international appeal, ‘FAST, FAST, FAST!’ sings of the impossibility of “accelerating the passage of time at some moments and stopping it at others,” according to its press release.
The song begins with a synthesized riff that is addictive from the first note, only to introduce us to an equally or more magnetic lyric in which elements such as frustration or the “50 billion Aquarius” that they are going to drink in case come into play. they remain dry. The fact of living in the capital is also not overlooked: “Since I live in Madrid, I feel like I can’t take it anymore.”
Their music is similar to the best version of Los Planetas, of which they also made a great version with Cora Yako, with whom they also share drums and guitarist. ‘Olympic Spirit’ was the song chosen. With ‘FAST, FAST, FAST!’ They stop being debutantes.
This change will materialize today, September 26, at the Sala Sol in Madrid as part of Vibra Mahou’s Madrid Stages cycle. Nobody Patín will say goodbye to their first album, at the same time as they will give way to their new and promising stage.
