Nacho Cano continues to testify as a defendant after the alleged illegal hiring of immigrants in the musical ‘Malinche’, according to El Mundo. He has denied all the accusations and has taken the opportunity to address the President of the Government directly: “I have a message for Pedro Sánchez.”
“I did not carry out any arrangements to bring Mexican scholarship holders to Spain,” said the former member of Mecano. The musician’s appearance lasted an hour and a half and he defended that, although he was the head of the musical, he was not in charge of administrative matters and pointed to a political campaign against him.
This is why, at the doors of the Court, Cano wanted to address the socialist president: «You do deserve to fall. And you deserve to fall because you have nothing you can’t buy. Thus, from those of us who are and want to be Spanish, you take the money from us to give it to those who do not want to be Spanish, to buy your votes,” he assured the media present.
Cano has also mentioned the intern who filed the initial complaint in mid-2024, adding that this process is not about her “but about something much more serious.” He has also indicated that Moncloa is going after him for his “support for Isabel Ayuso”: “Pedro Sánchez fears her, because he knows that she is the only one capable of getting him out of this unfair equation,” he concluded.
