Now that autumn has entered, the public still can’t get enough of ‘If I Had Met You Before’ by Karol G, a song that remains stuck like a limpet at number 1 on the Spanish Singles Chart. It won’t be for long: on Spotify Spain it drops to 4. On the Promusicae list it continues to lurk at number 2 ‘WHAT WILL YOU DO TODAY?’ by Omar Courtz and De La Rose.
The strongest entry is ‘DeGenere’ by Myke Towers and Benny Blanco, which takes its composition based on the famous humming of ‘Tom’s Diner’ (1981) by Suzanne Vega to number 3. ‘DeGenere’ is currently the number 1 song on Spotify Spain, followed by the urban ‘IA’ by Clarent, which is also positioned on the list, in fact, below, in 6th place. Clarent and Myke Towers share a hit in Spain, the remix of ‘Sport+’.
JC Reyes manages to position two singles on the Promusicae list, ‘RAPAPA’ at 22 and ‘Star’ at 40. There is also double news from Bruno Mars: his single with ROSÉ, ‘APT.’, enters at 31 and, rebound, ‘Die with a Smile’ with Lady Gaga stars in the strongest rise, from 35 to 26.
‘No Me Cansaré’ gives Sevdaliza a debut at number 60 in Spain thanks to the collaboration of Karol G. It is his best historical figure, since ‘Alibi’ did not go above 85 in our country, although a higher position was expected given the guest name.
Continuing with the urban entries, Cris MJ, who this year has triumphed with ‘Gata Only’, places ‘Si no es tumba’ at 63, thanks to his remix with Kali Uchis and Jhayco, and Duki positions a fairly minimalist song, ‘ Mud’, in ’76.
Liam Payne’s death has led to the return of several One Direction singles to the charts. In Spain, ‘Story of My Life’ re-enters in ’83.
Other entries on the list include ‘La balada’ by Ruslana (65), ‘Por no Bailar Contigo’ by Dani Fernández (91), ‘NOVIOGANGSTA’ by EMILIA (92) and ‘Diabla’ by Los Diozes (99).
