Concerts, DJ sessions and Radio 3 programs will once again accompany the film proposal of the Point of View festival in different spaces of Iruña-Pamplona.
He Point of View festival It already has the musical program for its twentieth anniversary which, as in previous years, will accompany its proposal focused on documentary film. The event will take place in Iruña-Pamplona between April 20 and 25 and will once again include concerts, DJ sessions and Radio 3 broadcasts with live performances spread across different spaces in the city. These activities are organized with the support of Navarra Music Commission, Radio 3 and venues such as Txintxarri, Tarantula and Laba.
The starting signal will be on Wednesday, April 15 in Laba, with a presentation of the festival by his team that will culminate with a live performance by AnaviAna Villayandre’s project, which moves between contemporary music and Iberian and Navarrese roots. On this occasion it will be shown in a format reduced to a trio.
The Punto de Vista Nights will take place mainly in Txintxarri and Tarantula, where concerts and DJ sessions will alternate. On Tuesday the 21st the programming will open Celia CarreraCantabrian DJ based in Iruña-Pamplona, with a selection that ranges from dub, house, bass or techno with British influences. The next day it will be the turn of Adrian Alegriaa Basque-Navarrean artist who will offer a house-style session with echoes of disco, funk, jazz and soul. On Thursday the 23rd the concert of Love’n’Joy in Txintxarri, one of the most relevant bands of current Ukrainian indie rock, along with the session of Masquepop in Tarantula. On Friday the 24th another of the key moments will arrive with the live performances of Bernal and Comic Sanswho will present their new works in Txintxarri.
Radio 3 will also be part of the festival again with the program “Tres en la Carretera”, hosted by Isabel Ruiz Lara, which will combine interviews with filmmakers with live performances from the Plaza de la Constitución (Baluarte). On Tuesday the 21st there will be Hondaa project by Elisa Bayona and Ibai Gallardo, which addresses topics such as grief from a sound close to folk, pop and rock. On Wednesday the 22nd the American artist will perform Annie Wonder with a psychedelic proposal based on synthesizers and experimental electronics, in addition to starring in the film “OAO” by Rocío Mesa included in the Official Section.
Most activities will be free of charge until capacity is reached, reinforcing the open vocation of the festival. With this programming, Punto de Vista continues to support the intersection between film and music and to give visibility to contemporary proposals, both local and international. In addition, the festival has already put tickets on sale for the general public through its website.
