Mourn lance “Linked letter” their sixth album, the first entirely in Spanish, a brighter album, more pop, less raw and more effective

After the publication of previews such as “Sleep late”, “Alegre y vivial” and “Vegetables and feelings”, Mourn has released his new album “Linked Letter”. A repertoire of songs that play with melancholy and optimism simultaneously. This album comes after the success of “The Avoider” (Starry Skies, 24), with which they toured much of Europestopping in cities of United Kingdom, France and Spain.

As we were told, all of the songs on “Linked letter” They are sung in Spanish. By removing the idiomatic makeup, his lyrics generally being a kind of personal diary. The texts on this album stand out for their imagination and fantasy, which are intertwined with the drifts of everyday life, narrating, without intending to, a game of mirrors in which most of us can feel reflected.

Musically, the new album Mournproduced by Norwegian musician and producer Kenneth Ishakis apparently a more luminous disk. Compared to its predecessors, it is poppier, less raw and more effective, but not at all simpler. With each listen, you can discover new details behind the arrangements of each song: the subtle plays of guitars, hypnotic and jumping basses, a battery that is not at all predictable, and a combination of two voices, very different and very personal.
