Morrissey presents tracklist, but not for ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’

Morrissey seems to have a new album on his hands, but it’s not the one you think. Last week, the former Smiths singer announced that he had signed with Sire Records after “voluntarily” leaving Capitol Records. For many, it meant the arrival of the eternally overdue ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’. However, Morrissey has released a tracklist that seems to indicate otherwise.

The list of songs published online and on Morrissey’s website does not include ‘Rebels Without Applause’, the single from the album released in 2022, or any of the leaked songs from the LP. That is to say, everything indicates that Morrissey has published the tracklist for a completely different album.

Morrissey even talked last year about an unreleased album re-recorded in France in 2023, which could well be the one to which this list of songs belongs. Some of these include titles like ‘The Monsters of Pig Alley’ or ‘Make-Up Is A Lie’. As for ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’, announced in 2021, it was revealed that Miley Cyrus and Iggy Pop would appear on the album, but Cyrus finally backed out due to a disagreement with someone on the British team.

In another vein, we remember that Morrissey will visit our country in 2026 with three exclusive concerts: on March 12 at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, on March 14 at the Zaragoza Auditorium and on March 16 at the Cartuja Center in Seville.

Tracklist:

‘The Monsters Of Pig Alley’
‘Headache’
‘Make-Up Is A Lie’
‘The Night Pop Dropped’
‘You’re Right, It’s Time’
‘Kerching Kerching’
‘Zoom Zoom The Little Boy’
‘Lester Bangs’
‘Boulevard’
‘Many Icebergs Ago’
‘Amazon’
‘Notre-Dame’
