On July 12 and 13, the Riojan town of Préjano will be filled with visitors to enjoy its surroundings, various activities and the music of 10 groups.
In just over a week a new edition of the Moradillos Festwhich began as a local celebration and has evolved to become one of the most unique and eagerly awaited festivals in the region, paying homage to the soul of the rural world and the Cidacos Valley itself. An initiative that brings together outstanding artists from the current scene together with fans of the rural world and music in a very special enclave in La Rioja.
The streets of the beautiful town of Préjano become the epicentre of contemporary music and culture during the weekend of 12 and 13 July. The concerts will start on Friday 12 July with Alberto & Garcia, Hey Mertxe! and Lugg in the wonderful gardens of San Miguel at the foot of Peñalmonte and Monte Isasa. On Saturday, July 13, Moradillos will begin the day with a vermouth in Fuente Pedro by The Vile Scoundrel and Chusco HerrerosThe main event, in the afternoon, with the concerts of El Pau, Muerdo, Repion, Psycho Rebel Front and Cesar Gallard.
During the weekend, the Cidacos Valley will not only be filled with music, but you can also enjoy other activities such as a visit to the Préjano castle and a botanical trail to learn more about the flora that makes up this natural area.
The organization has provided a shuttle bus from Logroño and Arnedo (see info here). Attendees can also enjoy a camper area.
