‘Mon Cherie Go Home’: A bop against Massification

Maria Jaume, who, last year, published the album ‘Nostàlgia Airlines’, and Fades, which, last year, published the album ‘Metallix’, have joined forces in a joint single that denounces the effects of mass tourism with humor, dance and a lot of autotune.

Jaume, whom we met a couple of seasons and beach ‘. Both Jaume and the three members of Fades – Ferran Pi, Vicenç Calafell and Àngel Exojo – are originally from Mallorca, so they know what they are talking about.

The motto “Tourist Go Home” is one of the hooks contained in this satirical ‘mon crany . A rhythm of Pop Dance and the autotune of rigor make the rest while Jaume and Fades tell an impossible love story between a person from Lloret and another from Paris. The chorus «If not M’enenns in Català, mon chéri, comment ça goes? Grow that Hauria d’in ended, Jo d’a here, you there »sounds openly festive.
