Mø, Danish singer famous for the song that dominated the world in 2015, ‘Lean on’, and Biig Piig, promise of Irish pop, have joined strength in the single ‘Sweet’, the third that presents the next album of Mø, ‘ Plæygirl ‘, which is put on sale on May 16.
‘Plæygirl’, fourth album of Mø, happens to ‘Motordrome’ (2022) and has previously been released with the singles ‘Who Said’ and ‘Wake Me Up’. The last is a very original version of the success of Avicii, totally taken to the dark field of this new stage of Karen Ørsted.
In ‘Plæygirl’, Mø will give Synth-Pop and Electropop Darks, Drara Chaos, will give Mayhem, will give Lady Gaga and also give Allie X. That is the proposal that defines the sound of ‘Sweet’, a song of the day for today Saturday.
On horseback between the Synth-Pop and the electroclash, ‘Sweet’ is as dark and, at the same time, as “sweet and viscous” as the “liquor” they drink in the song. Mø eleva ‘Sweet’ with his peculiar voice, and also reciting the curious line “I am not going to discos, but to comic-cons fairs and thrash metal concerts.” On the other hand, Biig Piig does not give up its personal touch to phrases like “I like to move, it’s like m when the low breaks, it is so sweet, it is my cryptonite.”
‘Sweet’ is one of the most immediate and effective singles signed by Mø in recent times. Is one of the 2025 surprises coming?
