Miley Cyrus and Kali Uchis have agreed to present their respective albums on the same day. On the one hand, we have the “experimental” ‘Something Beautiful’ by Miley Cyrus, of which we already know that it exists. On the other, the official announcement of the fifth Uchis album, ‘Sincerely’.
The author of ‘Orchids’ has made the announcement with a small video in which he shows her psychic powers with the help of candles. The only thing that is known about this LP is that it will be mostly in English and that was inspired by an “event that altered” the life of the singer, since there is still no exit date: “The album is about the complexities of life and find ways of joy despite the world,” he said in an interview with 10 Magazine.
On the other hand, Cyrus has made movements more discreetly. His website is prepared for the announcement of his next album, the successor of ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, to be imminent. Thus, we have the first official image of the project, which also looks like the cover itself, in which (no) we see the singer with a hairstyle that awakens a lot of curiosity.
Cyrus had talked about the project, which promises to be the “most experimental she has done”, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. This said that ‘Something Beautiful’ is inspired by the classic ‘The Wall’ by Pink Floyd and that it would be “equally visual as musical”, but with “best costumes.”
