Of Mike Patton We are waiting for anything, but even this way this has been a capital surprise. More raw rock flag bearer and experimentation, no one would have imagined that it would join The Avett Brothers To sign the joint disc “AVTT/PTTN”.
Mike Patton, without a doubt one of the most versatile and risky vocalists and musicians of his generation, has not had enough with Faith no More, Dead Cross, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungleetc., or with direct Ipecac, the record label, but has had enough thrust to surprise its own and strangers allying with The Avett Brothers to create the set disc “AVTT/PTTN”.
It all started when Scott Avett said in an interview that he admired Mike Patton’s work, which ended up taking both teams of representatives to suggest that they could collaborate at some point. And that moment has arrived.
Patton and Scott began to share material that has ended results in the songs of “AVTT/PTTN”. Now we can listen to “Eternal Love”, but the album will consist of nine songs that will see the light on November 14 through Thirty Tigers/Ramseur Records and Ipecac Recordings.
