Michael Kiwanuka and SHAME join RockLand

RockLand Art Fest complete your poster with Michael Kiwanuka and SHAME for its third edition, which will be held from July 19 to 21, 2024 in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, La Rioja.

The two artists join those already confirmed Scorpions, Europe, Alkoholika Society, The Drugs (40th Anniversary Barricade), Dead Posey, Crawlers, Oslo UFOs, Flight 505, Does not matter and The Sexpeares. RockLand Art Fest 2024 presents three days full of live music, with the participation of prominent bands from both the international and local scene. With this line-upthe festival consolidates itself as a cultural and musical reference in Santo Domingo de la Calzada and throughout the northern region of Spain.

With an unmistakable fusion of soul and folk, the talented British singer and guitarist Michael Kiwanuka joins the event. Lyrics that explore the depth of introspection and an innate ability to create great timeless songs seem to be the keys to the Brit's success. Without a doubt, an artist who has managed to carve his own path as an influential figure in the current music scene.

The post-punk note of the festival will be in charge of SHAME, one of the most celebrated London bands in recent years, whose rabid proposal not only engages due to its energy, but also due to the acute social charge of its lyrics. With an imagery in which they confront contemporary themes and an imposing stage presence, SHAME has gained international recognition and has become an indisputable reference for the revival of the genre in the underground music scene.
