Lady Gaga with 'The Fame Monster', Massive Attack with 'Blue Lines', Lorde with 'Pure Heroine' and Rage Against the Machine with 'Rage Against the Machine' are among the artists that appear on the list of Best Albums of the story of Apple Music that the American streaming platform is unraveling these days, and that will be completed daily.
To make its list, Apple Music has had a “panel of artists, composers, producers and experts” who have voted for “the best albums ever created.”
The list promises to be just as Anglocentric as Rolling Stone's, but also varied in its inclusion of classic albums and recent masterpieces. Thus, among the first positions revealed are titles by both Nina Simone ('I Put a Spell on You' in '88) and Tyler, the Creator ('Flower Boy' in '92), both by Patti Smith ('Horses ' in '83) and Burial ('Untrue' in '94).
