In case you don't have enough with the concerts that Metallica will offer in Madrid in July, now you can also see the band in their special concerts in Fortnite. James Hetfield's band will be the first band to take the main stage in all the themed games in the saga.
“Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury” will bring Metallica to all Fortnite experiences with the group's themed games in “Fortnite Festival”, “Battle Royale”, “Lego Fortnite”, “Rocket Racing” and others. But the most important thing is that the band will perform several special concerts on June 22 and 23.
Visually created by the technological studio Magnopus, these concerts will include six Metallica songs that have been chosen from among the American group's fan favorites: “Enter Sandman”, “Ride The Lightning” and “Master Of Puppets”, among others. The experience will try to reproduce the energy of their live shows.
“Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury” can be seen at three different times on Saturday, June 22 and at another three on Sunday, June 23. Metallica will not only visit Fortnite to perform, but they will also participate in the “Battle Stage”, with a fighting game that will allow you to play music. Sixteen players can participate per game and will have a repertoire of four songs to win the game.
To access Fortnite you must download it for free on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Android or PC, although it is also available on streaming services.
Let us also remember that the “M72 World Tour” of Metallica will pass through Madrid on Friday, July 12 and Sunday, July 14with no less than Architects and Mamoth WVH completing the poster on the first day and Ice Nine Kills and Five Finger Death Punch the second. Both shows will be held at the Cívitas Metropolitano with different setlists for each day and with the stage in the center of the stadium. To this will be added a series of parallel activities whose tickets are already on sale at www.teatroeslava.com. These activities will be held on Saturday, July 13, that is, between both concerts by the American band. On the one hand, The legendary rock photographer Ross Halfin He will be offering a conference at the Teatro Eslava at noon in which he will talk about his experience being the official photographer of Metallica – about whom he has published “Metallica: The Black Album In Black & White Book”– and about his work for essential names in hard rock such as AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden.
