Melody’s Echo Chamber, the French music project Melody Prochet, very dear here for albums such as her 2012 homonym album or ‘Bon Voyage’, announces her return. His fourth studio album, ‘Unclouded’, will risk the complicated month of December. Specifically on the 5th of that month.
‘Unclouded’ aims to open a new stage of optimism for Melody’s Echo Chamber. According to his stamp in Spain, the title of the album is inspired by an appointment by Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki on how to achieve balance: «You must see through eyes cleared by hatred. See the good in the bad and the bad in the good. Do not commit to either side ».
He continues: «The more I experience life, the more I love her and less I need to escape her. If my heart continues to belong to the blue hour, I also feel that I have gathered all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and I have hit them with gold, like the Japanese Kintsugi ».
His optimism would be portrayed both in the rhythms of the disc and in his most earthly lyrics. The first advance of all this is called ‘In the Stars’ and arrives with a video directed by Diane Sagnier.
When to the album, co-produces and co-writes Sven Wunder (Danny Brown), and the British drummer Malcolm Catto (Madlib and DJ Shadow) collaborates; Reine Fiske (Dungen), to whom guitars are credited to Johnny Marr; or Leon Michels (Wu-Tang, The Carters, Norah Jones and Clairo).
