Meghan Trainor has welcomed her third daughter “thanks to our incredible, surrogate superwoman.” The singer broke the news through her Instagram account, along with a series of photos with the baby in her arms: “We will always thank all the doctors, nurses and teams who have made this dream come true,” she wrote.
The singer has written a statement alongside the publication in which she assures that she and her partner, the act Daryl Sabara, had “endless conversations with our doctors during this trip and this was the safest way to continue growing our family.” The photograph that illustrates the post shows the singer excited, and naked, in what appears to be a hospital bed.
“We are over the moon, in love with this beautiful girl,” Trainor continues. She ends the message by saying that she has let her two children, Riley and Barry, choose the girl’s middle name: “Now we are going to enjoy this precious family time,” she concludes.
