Nicki Minaj, angry with 'Hiss' by Megan Thee Stallion, explodes

Megan Thee Stallion achieves another number 1 with ‘Hiss’

Megan Thee Stallion has just achieved a new number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. She has done it thanks to her new single ‘Hiss’, which has debuted at the top of the chart. The song also tops the Billboard Global 200.

‘Hiss’ made headlines for the beef it caused between the artist and Nicki Minaj, who even responded to him in her song ‘Big Foot’. This has led to the great success of Megan’s single in its first week, accumulating almost 30 million views in the United States alone. But even more surprising are the 104,000 downloads achieved, a non-recurring figure in the streaming era.

Compared to Nicki Minaj’s song, ‘Hiss’ has had a better reception than ‘Big Foot’, which also entered the Hot 100 but at position 23. However, while ‘Hiss’ continues within the top 200 of Spotify Global (#61) and Spotify USA (#8), Nicki Minaj’s single has already disappeared.

This marks Megan Thee Stallion’s third number 1 in the United States. This adds to her previous hit ‘Savage’ and her collaboration ‘WAP’ with Cardi B, both from 2020.
