Matt Berninger prepares his second solo album, ‘Get Sunk’

Matt Berninger, vocalist and leader of The National, prepares to release his second solo album. ‘Get Sunk’ will be available on all platforms from May 30, becoming the successor of ‘Serpentine Prison’.

The ‘Bonnet of Pins’ acoustics is the first advance of the album, which will also include the collaborations of “numerous musicians and friends,” as Berninger has described in his Instagram account. Among these, Meg Duffy of Hand Houss, Ronboy and Booker T. Jones.

On the album, Berninger has given these details: «Our hearts are like old wells full of pence and worms. I can’t resist going to the bottom of mine to see what there is, but sometimes you can get stuck, ”he said. Berninger has also announced a tour that will take him through North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. However, none of its stops includes Spain.
