Maschine+ is the new iteration of Native Instruments’ flagship MIDI controller. But, this time, there is a very interesting twist.
In the end, see that your mode of creation has the pottery What you have, depends on a computer, it can be frustrating on many occasions. It gives creative flexibility, yes, but it takes away immediacy. In any case, I do not intend to enter into the usual debate (hard vs soft), but to present you this new device, which is going to be a real best-seller.
In this fourth version (we presented the third just three years ago), Maschine+ is no longer tied to a computer, so you can create your tracks without needing more than a power outlet. Do you miss the days of the MPC2000? Well hold on.
This Maschine+, as a concept, does not present anything new. Recently we have even had new versions from the inventors of the MPC, with the Akai MPC Live (and Live II), MPC X, and MPC One. Excellent devices too, but more difficult to integrate into a setup than this Maschine+. Because, in fact, Maschine+ can continue to function like previous versions, as a MIDI controller, but it is when you disconnect it from the USB port where you can see its full potential.
Its integrated 24-bit interface has line inputs, microphone (dynamic) inputs and two output jacks, in addition to the headphone jack. MIDI input and output (both 5-pin and USB) complete the wired connectivity. For the most modernit has WIFI and integration with Link, so you can hook it to your favorite app.
It provides plenty of quality for any situation, and its aluminum chassis will withstand the rigors of the dirtiest of the slums where you operate. Of course, you have 32 GB of internal storage, and NI includes a 64 GB SD in case you fall short. You can use one up to 1TB, and even use an external HD.
Here you have the official data:
