Marilyn Manson withdraws his complaint against Evan Rachel Wood

Marilyn Manson withdraw the complaint against Evan Rachel Wood and his partner for plotting and publicly defaming him as a “rapist and abuser.”

The rock star Marilyn Manson has withdrawn the complaint that he filed in 2022 against Evan Rachel Wood and Illma Gore for defamation and conspiracy against him, as reported Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. Apart from withdrawing the lawsuit, manson has agreed to reimburse wood for attorneys’ fees with almost $327,000, as the judge ruled.

Michael J. Kamp, one of the attorneys for wooddeclared the following: “Marilyn Mansonwhose real name is Brian Warner, filed a lawsuit against Ms. Wood as a publicity stunt to try to undermine the credibility of her numerous accusers and revive her flagging career. But their attempt to silence and intimidate Ms. Wood failed.”

The complaints come from 2021, when Evan Rachel Wood publicly cited Marilyn Manson as her alleged abuser, claiming that the artist abused her for years. “She claims he tortured and abused her during the filming of the ‘Heart-Shaped Glasses’ music video.”
