Mariah Carey continues with all the Christmas paraphernalia in full swing, which includes a tour of North America. In the repertoire is ‘Oh Santa!’ and at this weekend’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York there were some very special guests.
It was Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, who took the stage arm in arm with two shepherd boys. The ‘Oh Santa’ collaboration had appeared in 2020 in a special for Apple TV called ‘Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special’.
At the moment, this Christmas ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ has been at number 2 on the American and British charts. In the first case she has fallen behind Brenda Lee’s Christmas carol. In the second, behind the carol of Wham! What does dominate is Spotify’s global number 1.
