María Peláe, Falete, Jedet… will cover 100 years of LGTBIQ+ music

Alberto from Miss Caffeina, María Peláe, Jedet, Javiera Mena and Diana Navarro are the leading artists of 'Lo que soy', the special concert organized by RTVE Play, in collaboration with the RTVE Orchestra and Choir, on June 28 for International Pride Day. Tickets for the show are now on sale.

'What I am' aims to commemorate a century of LGTBIQ+ music with covers by artists as diverse as Concha Piquer, OBK, Mecano and Rosalía. The concert will take place next Friday, June 28 at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid starting at 7:30 p.m. On July 2 it will be available on RTVE Play.

Under the musical direction of Federico Jusid, the event will be divided into three acts, each one representing “crucial moments in the history of the collective”: repression, the conquest of love and the conquest of being. Paco Tomás, Nerea Pérez de la Heras and Hugáceo Crujiente will be in charge of opening each part with a monologue as context.
