Maria Jaume, Queralt Lahoz, Quim Carandell (The Ludwig Band) and Marc Ross (Sidonie) will participate in the information and training sessions of the Soc Author 2025.

The days Soc Author They return with a new edition for this month of November. This year they are presented with a new format, based on conversations about the creative process with the musicians. The objective is to generate a space for dialogue and reflection on musical creation. It seeks to bring the public closer to the experiences, influences and methodologies of the artists. These meetings will offer a unique opportunity to learn first-hand how musicians conceive and develop their works. In this new edition of Soc Authortop-level authors will participate, such as Maria Jaume, Queralt Lahoz, Quim Carandell (The Ludwig Band) and Marc Ross (Sidonie)

Soc Author is an itinerant project promoted by the General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE), the SGAE Foundation, through the Territorial Council of the SGAE in Catalonia, and the Houses of Music since 2016. Through conferences, sessions, meetings and training workshops aimed at musicians who are authors (composers and lyricists), Soc Author Its main objective is to put authorial work on the front line. The aim of the project is to provide tools to musical authors of the present and future in Catalonia.

This project is a clear reference to the recognition of a group that does not always have the external perception or projection that the performer has, and also wants to make visible and, at the same time, reaffirm its own members. The key to the initiative is to weave links between groups that are in different phases of their careers. From those who start to those who have more experience. The sessions will take place on the days November 25 and 26 in it Barcelona P62 Club. Furthermore, the sessions are free with registration prior.
