Manolo García adds another number 1 on Records in Spain, a constant in his career, except for some setbacks like the previous ‘Desatinos deplumados’ (2022), which was in the top 2. The new ‘Drapaires poligoneros’ does manage to dethrone Fito and Fitipaldis and is positioned as the best-selling album in the country. They have presented the album with 16 single tracks such as ‘You are not alone, you have your voice’ or ‘I will cry’.
The second strongest entry is Mägo de Oz at number 5 with ‘Malicia’. For its part, Florence + the Machine is just outside the top 10 with ‘Everybody Scream’. Florence is number 11 in Spain, as well as top 2 on vinyl, only behind Manolo García. This album by Florence has been number 1 in the United Kingdom like all her albums except ‘High as Hope’ which was at number 2.
Additionally, ‘Everybody Scream’ has reached the top 3 in Germany, Holland and the top 4 in the United States and Australia. In general, it has been top 5 worldwide, but Spain does not offer its worst data: Florence’s album has been top 15 in Italy and top 16 in France.
Other entries on the Spanish list have been those of Bob Dylan in ’58 with the box set ‘Through the Open Window’; Radiohead at number 59 with ‘Hail to the Thief: Live Recordings’ and Tarchi at number 84 with ‘Remember You’re Going to Die’.
It should also be noted that the strongest rise of the week is once again that of Sanguijuelas del Guadiana. ‘Revolá’ goes from 71st place to 42nd place after passing through ‘La Revuelta’. Additionally, Tyler the Creator’s ‘Chromakopia’ reappears at number 51; and Barry B reappears in the top 100 with ‘Chato’.
