Mannequin Pussy know many things… but one thing they don’t

Mannequin Pussy has released their new single, ‘I Don’t Know You’, to accompany the announcement of their fourth album: ‘I Got Heaven’. It will be released on March 1 next year and will be composed of a total of 10 songs. It is the first since 2019’s ‘Patience’.

This new song is the continuation of ‘I Got Heaven’, a single that the group released at the end of August and which is currently their most popular song on music platforms. Both will be part of the album, with ‘I Got Heaven’ being the opening track and ‘I Don’t Know You’ being the fourth track on it.

The new song is about the rage of knowing many things except the one you crave most. According to member Marisa Dabice, “it’s simply a song about falling in love. About the excitement and playful fantasy that can arise from meeting someone unexpectedly at a festival, on the street or in line at the supermarket. “You don’t know when you’ll see them again, but the rush of their possibility lingers, making you long to know more about them.”

This is the tracklist for ‘I Got Heaven’:
1. I Got Heaven
2. Loud Bark
3. Nothing Like
4. I Don’t Know You
5. Sometimes
6. OK? OKAY! OKAY? OKAY!
7. Tell Me Softly
8. Of Her
9. Aching
10. Split Me Open
