Following the completion of the Celebration Tour, a world tour that spanned 81 dates between October 2023 and May 2024, many doubted whether Madonna would tour again, or at least with that intensity, after her hospitalization months earlier. Some even decided to attend this hit tour worried about never being able to see it live again. Even among the rumors related to ‘Confessions II’, the idea has been considered that Madonna could offer a new concert residency, instead of a usual world tour.
In the last few hours, a headline from her manager, Guy O’Seary, supposedly spoken in Variety, has circulated on social networks, insinuating that O’Seary doubted a possible return of Madonna to the stage. “I’m not sure he’ll ever act again” was the headline chosen by the American portal, which was quickly spread among his fans.
Guy O’Seary has decided to cut things short and clarify that he did not at all mean what the Variety headline implied. He explained that Madonna does plan to go on tour to present ‘Confessions II’, but he has indicated that there are no concrete plans yet.
“The headline is not true,” O’Seary posted in his stories. “They asked me if people were going to be able to see Madonna on tour, and I said ‘I wasn’t sure yet’. I never said ‘I’m not sure she’s going to tour again’. That’s absurd. Of course Madonna will go on tour again. She wants to share her music with her fans. The plans are still unclear,” he said, asking his followers to stay tuned for any news.
Madonna has just announced her 15th album, ‘Confessions II’, which has been released with the introductory song ‘I Feel So Free’, which will not be the first single of the era. This role could fall to the collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter presented at Coachella, whose official title and release are unknown.
