Mad Cool announces improvements for its 2026 edition, whose schedule will be revealed in the coming days. The main novelty is the reduction in capacity, which will go to a maximum of 50,000 attendees. The Madrid festival has also detailed a series of changes and improvements aimed at offering a more comfortable and sustainable experience for the public, which are the following:
–Capacity adjustments to improve access flows and mobility within the premises.
–Scenario reconfiguration to optimize schedules and improve the acoustic quality of the event.
–New space distributionswith more space in rest, restoration and mobility areas.
–Increase in services: more free drinking water points, more bathrooms and a greater number of bars.
–Increase in relaxation and shade areas for greater comfort during the days.
–Accessibility improvements (PMR): special accesses, adapted bathrooms, support staff, inclusive signage and loan of specialized material.
–Increase in screens and audiovisual improvement for a more immersive experience.
–A restaurant area that prioritizes qualitywith an expanded space to make the experience in this gastronomic area much more comfortable.
Mad Cool explains that its renewed format has been “designed to offer greater comfort, larger spaces and a more relaxed atmosphere, in line with what the public has moved over recent years.” The festival is held from July 8 to 11 at the Iberdrola Music space, in Villaverde.
