Mac Demarco has announced a new album. ‘Guitar’ is written, recorded, produced and mixed by the artist himself and will be available from August 22. After ‘One Wayne G’, composed of 199 tracks, Demarco presents his new project with a return to his characteristic style in ‘Home’, the first advance.
The Canadian artist wanted to deal with everything related to his new album, from recording work and videos to his cover. The mastering of the songs, on the other hand, comes from the hand of David Iives. ‘Guitar’ will be the first Demarcco album with guitar and voice from ‘Here Comes The Cowboy’, in 2019. ‘Five Easy Hot Dogs’, released in 2023, it was an instrumental album.
“I think ‘Guitar’ is the most real representation of the vital moment in which I can put on paper,” says Demarco in a press release. “Happy to share this music and wanting to play these songs in all the places you can,” he concludes.
