M Train presents their new single “Sleeping Means Leaving”

“Sleeping Means Leaving” is the second preview of the debut EP by M Train“Listen, Take It In.”

The Basque-Catalan artist continues with the campaign for her next project published by Foehn Records and he does it with a second single. After publishing “Losing My Sleep,” “Sleeping Means Leaving” recounts the insomnia caused by his first love. The song explores how that desire for the person you love ends up not letting you sleep. Due to the thought that if he falls asleep he will no longer be at your side. Quote the lyrics: “If sleeping means leaving, I’d rather stay awake.”

The single, produced again by Jordi Matasunfolds like a road trip where new colors and shades are unlocked as the car moves forward. Evoking those nerves about a first love, the doubts and insecurities that this can cause us. M Train wanted to give the song a little more electronic sound. A double percussion of a band, a line recorded in mid-tempo with tape and its speed doubled. A sample reminiscent of Aphex Twin.

The creative director of the project and the video clip has been Júlia Izaguirre. A video in which we discover a young couple on an electric scooter walking through their neighborhood. In a scenario where the couple enters this new paradigm called love.

The next April 23M Train will perform at the Barcelona Upload Room while his EP, “Listen, Take It In” will be available from April 29.
