Luis Vasquez from The Soft Moon passes away

Luis Vasquez, known artistically as The Soft Moon, has died. The news has been communicated through his social networks: «With great sadness we announce that our dear friend Luis Vásquez has passed away. Our hearts and thoughts are with his family, friends and extended musical family. We ask to respect his privacy during this difficult time… This is a great loss and we are heartbroken.

Although the causes of death have not been revealed, Resident Advisor reports that his death is related to that of DJ John Juan Mendez of Silent Servant. According to the web portal, the artists have been involved in the same “incident” in which both have lost their lives. There is no official information yet.

Luis Vasquez of The Soft Moon is the author of albums like ‘The Soft Moon’ or ‘Zeros’. Furthermore, he visited Madrid as part of the GetMad Festival lineup in 2016. He was over 30 years old.
