Lucy Dacus confirms that it is the “Lucy” of that Taylor Swift song

Lucy Dacus today publishes new album, ‘Forever is a Feeling’, and the interviews he has granted in recent weeks in promotion of the album have been rich in headlines. First, in a talk with The New Yorker, Dacus has confirmed his sentimental relationship with Julien Baker, his bandmate in Boygenius. His other partner, as everyone knows, is Phoebe Bridgers.

Now, Dacus has confirmed another rumor that has circulated on her during the last year, which is effectively the “Lucy” named in ‘The tortured poet department’, Taylor Swift’s song. Charlie Puth is not the only star cited in the lyrics of the song.

On the head track of his latest album, Taylor Swift narrated an episode in which his partner expresses one Lucy who “could take his life” if Taylor left the relationship. Yes, this sinister is the matter, and this staff was the song.

Now, Lucy Dacus has confirmed that the friend was her and, in case someone had doubts, she added that Swift personally called her to obtain her approval. Dacus explained that he seemed surreal to hear his name in the voice of an artist he had heard for years.

The rumor suggests that the person he wrote Taylor in ‘The tortured poets department’ is Matty Healy of The 1975. Swift and Healy left a few months during the course of the Eras Tour. Healy is presumed very friend of Phoebe Bridgers, but not so much from Lucy Dacus: the world still remembers the Zasca that Dacus hit Healy in X when Healy made fun of Boygenius.
