The American artist Lucinda Williams will pass through Barcelona, Madrid and Vitoria-Gasteiz to present the seventh volume of his series “Lu’s Jukebox”.
The iconic singer-songwriter and three-time Grammy winner Lucinda Williams will perform a three-date tour in our country in June. The American artist will review with her band some of the greatest hits that have marked her influential career of more than three decades. The singer-songwriter has forged a unique legacy within folk, blues and music framed in the Americana genre. So much so that in 2021 she was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame, consolidating her position as one of the most respected voices on the international music scene.
On December 6, the artist launched “Lucinda Williams Sings The Beatles From Abbey Road”the seventh volume of his series Lu’s Jukebox. This work includes reinterpreted versions of classics like “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “With A Little Help From My Friends,” as well as deeper gems like “I’m So Tired” and “Yer Blues.” Recorded at The Beatles’ legendary London studio, this album not only pays tribute to the British band, but reflects Williams’ endless ability to reinvent himself and explore new creative frontiers, even after overcoming a stroke in 2020.
