“Los Motivos”, second solo preview by Guille Galván (Vetusta Morla)

The Madrid native Guille Galvan releases “Los Motivos”, the second preview of his next solo album and accompanied by a video clip directed by Guillermo Galoe played by Irene Escolar and Fernando Delgado Hierro.

If only a month ago Galvan He surprised us with the news of the first single, now the man from Madrid publishes “Los Motivos”, the second and final preview of his debut solo album.

Guille comments on “The Reasons”: “Sometimes we hurt ourselves. Sometimes we are support and cure, almost without knowing it. Living with that duality: with the wild and the rational at the same time forces us to look for reasons that justify what, many times, happens by chance or by pure instinct. We invent myths, symbols and logic to unite the pieces of a torn world that we do not fully understand. But having the reasons does not always make us right.”

The song maintains the intimate and direct line of its first preview (“At what moment I doubted you”) also adding layers of the careful production of Campi Campón (Jorge Drexler, Old Morla, Valeria Castro) which makes, again, team with Galvan to dress up one of the most exciting songs on the album.

The Catalan producer, winner of several Latin Grammys, also records drums, bass, textures and electric keyboard on the foot, explains: “Guille He sent me “Los Motivos” recorded at his house guitar, voice along with that sinuous arpeggiator that runs through the entire song. At that moment I thought, I wish he would let me get my hands on this great song. And so it was! Everything I added happened in a couple of days locked in my studio, it was like a kind of experiment and playing with my new sound gadgets.” The mix is signed by Carlos Raya and the mastering did it Fred Kevorkian in his New York studio.

The video clip is directed by the Goya-winning director, Guillermo Galoe (City without sleep, fragile balance). Starring actress Irene School (The girls are fine, An autumn without Berlin) winner of the Goya for best new actress in 2016 and recently awarded the Actors Union Award for Best Theater Actress 2025. The cast is completed with the actor Fernando Delgado Hierro and his own Guille Galvan.
