‘Los Domingos’ vs ‘Sirât’: which will triumph at the Goya 2026?

On February 28, the Goya awards will be awarded in Barcelona. This afternoon the nominees were read, highlighting the acclaimed ‘Los Domingos’, which leads with 13 nominations, followed by the internationally recognized ‘Sirât’, with 11. Also notable is the good acceptance among the nominees of ‘Maspalomas’, which can aspire to 9 statuettes.

Among the surprises, ‘La cena’ and ‘Sorda’ sneak into the Best Picture nominees, leaving out ‘Pilgrimage’. Of course, Carla Simón is nominated for best director. ‘Cautivo’ by Amenábar is in the categories of male actors, but above all it stands out in the technical categories. Among the nominees for Best Song we find Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Blanca Paloma, Víctor Manuel and Leiva.
