Lorde is giving signs of life. The New Zealand artist has officially announced the departure of the first single from what will be her expected fourth album. The song is titled ‘What Was That’ and still has no start date, just a “soon.”
The author of ‘Melodrama’ has already opened a Tiktok account a week ago with the first musical fragment of her new era. Everything indicates that Lorde will return to electronic pop on his fourth album, successor of ‘Solar Power’. In the clip, Lorde appears to record herself while walking through the streets of New York listening to ‘What Was That’, which says:
“Since I was 17, I Gave You EveryTHING / Now We Wake From A Dream, Well Baby, What Was That? / What was that?” Sings the 28 -year -old artist.
