Lorde feels free and horny in the ‘Hammer’ revolt

Lorde has launched ‘Hammer’, the third and last single from ‘Virgin’, his new album, which is put on sale next week, on June 27. ‘Hammer’ is the theme that opens ‘Virgin’ and is now available on Spotify and other audio platforms. The video clip opens at 15.00.

‘Hammer’ is debated between composure and chaos. The base-designed next to its producer Jim-e Stack-is a swirl of noise and guantazos of percussion that reflects the mental whirlwind of Lorde and also the physical chaos that surrounds it, that of the big city. She tells that ‘Hammer’ is a “ode to the big city and to be horny” and the letter alludes to her fertility, because the Neo Zealand does not know if she is “in love or ovulating.”

However, Lorde’s presence is calm, even poetic. Maybe because he has discovered that “there is peace in the madness of our heads.” ‘Hammer’ not only conveys the sexual drive of Lorde, but also his desire to fall in love, his comfort within gender fluidity and his desire to live life “without thinking that I have all the answers.” Hence he feels that “he has been born again.”

‘Virgin’ features the successful single At least, ‘Man of the Year’ has given Lorde his 8th number 1 in the top 40 of Jenesaispop.
