Lorde He has launched “Man of the Year”, a second single with which the artist explores gender neutrality, one of the central themes in her next album “Virgin”.
After “What was that”, Lorde He has launched a new musical piece in which he explores his gender identity and his interior transformation process, reflecting a moment of rupture and self -discovery. The video clip that accompanies “Man of the Year” shows the Neo Zealand in a minimalist environment, where we see her taking off her shirt and using adhesive tape to tie her chest, visually representing her trip to a more fluid identity. This aesthetic underlines the honesty and vulnerability of the singer at this creative stage.
“Virgin”the fourth album of the Lorde record, will be released next June 27and promises to be a raw and authentic reflection of his femininity and personal evolution. Produced next to Jim-e Stack and with collaborations of Dev Hynesthe album will mix electronic sounds and introspective lyrics, which can be enjoyed live on the world tour “Ultrasound”which will begin in September.
