After passing through two settings as emblematic as the Circo Price Theater in Madrid and the Great Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona, Loquillo He continues adding dates to the thirtieth anniversary tour of his relationship with poetry.
Loquillo has been embracing poetry and making songs out of it for decades. In fact, they have just celebrated thirty years of their show “Transgressions”which now also has the album “Transgressions. Poetry Anthology (1994-2024)”.
In 1994 Loquillo, together with Gabriel Sopeña, dared to bring verses by contemporary poets to the stage following the tradition of the ancient troubadours. Since then, he has recorded “The life ahead” (94) which was a gold record; “With elegance” (98), “Women on the warpath” (04), “Her name was that of all women” (eleven), “Loquillo in Madrid” (12), “Life is for those who risk” (23) and “Europe”, which will be out later this year. Now, the best of this work is compiled in “Transgressions. Poetic Anthology” (double CD and booklet), in which we can enjoy his best songs on his long-awaited theater tour.
On this tour, therefore, he enhances his most interpretive side. And he does it throughout the length and breadth of the peninsula. Now it adds new dates, so the tour will go through Huelva (July 12, Ibero-American Forum of La Rábida), Cuenca (July 13, Roman Theater of Segóbriga), Cádiz (July 19, Polo-Club Sotogrande), Caravaca de la Cruz (July 20, Nights of the Camino), Málaga (July 27 July, Cuevas de Nerja Festival), Sanxenxo (August 15, Costa Feira Festival), Alicante (August 17, Area 12), Gran Canaria (September 13, Mar Abierto Festival), A Coruña (September 21, Palacio de la Ópera), Valencia (September 28, Palacio de Congresos), Seville (October 10, Cartuja Center Show), Roquetas de Mar (October 18, Teatro Auditorio) and Granada (October 26, Palacio de Congresos).
