“Looking for the Happy”, new preview of Peter Gabriel’s “o/i”

Peter Gabriel All this year he has been releasing songs from what will be his eleventh album “I heard”. Now it’s the turn of “Looking for the Happy”, a piece of almost nine minutes.

“I heard” will see the light at some point this year, at the end, when the moons required by Peter Gabriel to complete the “Bright-Side” and “Dark-Side” of his new songs are met.

“Looking for the Happy” is thus the ninth song released from the album, and for now we can listen to its “Bright-Side” – a mix by Mark “Spike” Stent –, which reaches almost nine minutes in length.

All the pieces on this new album are recovered from different moments in his career, although parts have been re-recorded and completed over the last two years.

“I heard” It will include a total of twenty songs, divided between the “Bright-Side” and the “Dark-Side”, that is, ten pieces in two different mixes. At the moment we can listen to “Been Undone”, “Put The Bucket Down”, “What Lies Ahead”, “Till Your Mind Is Shining”, “Won’t Stand Down”, “A Hard Lesson”, “Belong To The Sky”, “One By One” and this “Looking for the Happy”.
