The Murcian band Viva Sweden have been nominated for the Nobel Prize for Concord for their contribution to the international and tourist recognition of the Scandinavian country.
In a recent press conference by the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Development, the academy’s intention to award the highest award to the band Viva Sweden was announced for its contribution to the development and tourism promotion of the Scandinavian country, and for create a bond of great importance between both countries, which contributes to the peace and stability of the European Union in times of crisis.
Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard has highlighted the great relevance that the group has acquired and its high participation in festivals in Spain and Latin America in which they have played an important role as ambassadors of Sweden’s excellence: “You only have to see the explicitness of his name to realize it”declared the minister. All of this has led to the group being unanimously chosen to apply for this very important award and be declared honorary ambassadors of Sweden.
The prize, in addition to having a significant endowment in Swedish crowns, will allow the band to shop for free at Ikea for the next ten years, in addition to offering a free concert next year at the National Arena in Stockholm before more than 50,000 spectators.
