Lola Indigo joins Suzete’s ‘KOMBOLEWA’

The latest contestants of Operación Triunfo have left interesting songs, but so far no mainstream hits. That could change soon, as it has been revealed through social media that there is a remix of Suzete’s ‘Kombolewa’, which Lola Indigo has decided to join.

‘Kombolewa’, with its Afropop beat, was already one of the best songs to come out of Operación Triunfo 2023, and so far had 1.5 million streams on Spotify. The production was handled by KICKBOMBO, a trio known for their work with, for example, Belén Aguilera or Vicco.

Regardless of the outcome, ‘KOMBOLEWA’ will have the grace of reuniting two of the first contestants to be expelled from Operación Triunfo: one a few years ago, and the other in its latest edition. The next edition of the programme is not expected until 2025.
